Bani’s terms of use

A few simple rules, so it’s clear what Bani does, and what it doesn’t.

What Bani is

Bani is an app for logging the care of babies and young children: feedings, sleep, diapers, growth, medicines, appointments and more. It also includes general information for parents. Using the app and the website is subject to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Not medical advice

Bani helps you log and remember. It gives no diagnosis, doesn’t recommend a treatment or a dose, and never replaces a doctor, a nurse or a professional. Its estimates, such as the expected time of the next sleep or a comparison with growth charts, are general only. For any question about a child’s health, ask a professional, and in an emergency call MDA on 101 or go to the emergency room.

Who it’s for

Bani is meant for parents and adults who care for children. Whoever logs information about a child is responsible for being allowed to do so, and for the information being as accurate as possible.

A shared family

Whoever joins a family with a code sees everything logged in it, and can add and edit. Share the code only with people you trust. You can remove a phone from the family at any moment.

Account

You can use Bani without an account. Whoever opens one keeps their sign-in details safe, and tells us if they suspect someone else got in.

Fair use

Don’t use Bani for anything unlawful, don’t try to break into it or harm it, and don’t upload content that hurts others.

Availability and changes

We do everything we can so Bani works well and without breaks, but no software is free of bugs. It’s a good idea to export your data now and then. We may add, change or remove features. If we change something important in these terms, we’ll say so here and in the app.

Rights

The name Bani, the bunny, the design and the content in the app and on the website belong to Bani. The information you log belongs to you.

Stopping

You can stop using Bani at any moment, and delete your data and account. Every way to delete.

Law

These terms are governed by Israeli law.
