What is Bani?
A phone app that helps you remember your baby’s day: feedings, sleep, diapers, growth, medicines and more. One tap to log, and you see right away what was and what’s next. Bani speaks Hebrew and English, on iPhone and Android.
When can I download it?
Bani is in the last steps before launching in the stores. The moment it’s there, we’ll say so here, on Instagram and on Facebook.
Can I share it with my partner?
Yes. Another parent, a grandparent or the nanny joins with a code, and what is logged on one phone shows up on everyone’s. Each entry carries the name of whoever logged it, and everyone gets a bunny in their own color.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Bani without one. If you’d like an account, sign in with Google or with email and a password.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything is saved on the phone first: entries, timers, the journal and statistics. When the connection is back, syncing with the family carries on by itself.
Where is the data kept, and who sees it?
On your phone. If you choose family sync, a copy is kept on Bani’s server, encrypted, and opens only for the phones in your family. All the details are in the privacy policy.
How many children can I add?
Up to four, twins included. Each child has their own journal, timers and color, and you switch between them with a tap.
Does Bani give medical advice?
No. Bani helps you log and remember, and gives no diagnosis. Its information for parents is general, based on official sources such as Israel’s Ministry of Health, and shown with those sources. For any question about your baby’s health or a medicine dose, ask a doctor, a nurse or a pharmacist.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes, from inside the app: export all your data to a file, delete it from the phone, and delete the account from the server. Every way to delete.
